5 Must Dos when #NathanGoesSolo
With under two weeks left to go until #NathanGoesSolo, I am finding it very hard to contain my excitement! I can't wait to share every moment with you all via social media during my trip and through my vlogs post-trip (more on all that coming next week!), but also to enjoy some 'me-time' and experience Disney World solo! Here are 5 things I really want to do/see/experience during my upcoming trip;
1 - Experience the New
Since my last visit in 2016, a number of new experiences and attractions have opened across the resort, including; Pandora: The World of Avatar (where I'm excited to ride Flight of Passage and taste the Night Blossom), Happily Ever After fireworks and Walt Disney Presents preview center. I will for sure be checking out everything new and taking in everything I haven't seen before!
2 - Experience Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
I haven't experienced the Flower and Garden Festival since my first visit to the World back in 2006, and i'm sure a lot has changed since then! I don't really remember much besides some pretty topiaries and gardens - I do know though that the festival has grown into so much more; with 15 food booths, over 100 topiaries, limited-time performers and more! I'll definitely blog, vlog and share some of my experiences at the 25th annual International Flower and Garden Festival.
3 - Buy ALL the Merch!
I may or may not already have a kinda long shopping list for all that Disney merch I want to buy... Everything from pins to photo frames to t-shirts and more - that free $200 gift card isn't going to spend itself! Check out an upcoming blog post next week with a little rundown of what I already know I want to pick up on my trip.
4 - Eat ALL the Food!
This trip will definitely be food-filled, as I am on the Quick Service dining plan, which entitles me to two quick service meals and 2 snacks per day - thats 20 meals and 20 snacks included at no additional cost! My current plan is to eat at different restaurants each day, although there are a couple I am repeating (Be Our Guest being one of them - for breakfast and lunch!). I'll be sharing written and video reviews of some of the food I try once I return from my trip, so be on the watch for those - which Disney quick service location is your favourite?
5 - Take a TON of photos and make use of PhotoPass
This trip will be a photography and videography heavy trip with the amount of content I have planned for the months ahead, so I am looking forward to testing my skills and *hopefully* capturing some great shots from around Walt Disney World. I am also planning to make good use of the PhotoPass system as I have Memory Maker photo downloads included in my package - for those who don't know, PhotoPass is where Disney take your photo and automagically upload the photo to your account. This can either be from a photographer around the parks, or a photo/video captures aboard a ride or attraction. I'll be sharing a lot of my photos over on my Instagram, so make sure you are following me on there for the latest.
There are obviously a ton of other 'must dos' for my upcoming trip, but these are 5 of the biggest ones. What is your top must do when you visit Walt Disney World?
