25 days to go - Walt Disney World countdown!

When I booked my solo Walt Disney World trip is was almost 300 days away, which certainly felt like a lifetime. Yet here I am, just 25 days to go and it all of a sudden feels so very real! Although i've been to Disney before, so I know what to expect, I have never been solo nor staying onsite at a Disney Resort, so this trip is sure to be one of firsts.

I've got my plan all set - dining decided, FastPasses booked and can't wait to experience the magic. I have a rough plan in the form of a spreadsheet (if you didn't see my last blog post about planning WDW using a spreadsheet, check it out here!), so know for sure which parks I will be going to and when. One of the benefits of a solo trip is that I can do whatever I want when I want, so I can't wait for the freedom of that! :) (not to mean that in a selfish way...)

I'm very excited to experience Pandora: The World of Avatar, as that opened last year and includes what is being described as "the best ride in Orlando", and I also can't wait to ride some of my Disney favourites again including Splash Mountain, Test Track and Haunted Mansion. I think the one thing I am most looking forward to though is watching the new Happily Ever After fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. They look INCREDIBLE from the videos i've seen, and I get chills just hearing the soundtrack - I CAN'T WAIT to see the show in person! :D

What is your favourite thing to do at Walt Disney World? Are you planning a trip back anytime soon? I'd love to hear all about it below or on social media!

I've got some more announcements and blog posts coming between now and my trip, so be sure to follow me on social media for the latest!

See ya' real soon!

*UPDATE: Just as I was about to make this post live, the postman knocked at the door with a package from the Walt Disney Travel Company, which included my travel documents, guidebook, luggage tags and more! Now it is beginning to feel a lot more real! Eeeeek!!
