Where have those 2 years gone?! LA Filming Locations

I can't quite believe that two years ago I was actually in Los Angeles on a visit I will never ever forget... The trip provided the chance to be on the sets of much-loved TV shows and films including; Friends (where I got to sit on that iconic Central Perk sofa!), Pretty Little Liars and The Ellen Show, hosted by none other than the legendary Ellen DeGeneres! Not only that, but we also met with media professionals and celebrities, visited some of the most-filmed locations on earth, and spend a day at a theme park. What more could we ask for?!

Although i've shared a few moments in the past from my trip through photo and video, I wanted to take this opportunity to throwback to the best bits, and share some of the filming locations we visited whilst there!

Recognise these stairs? The Bradbury Building and these stairs were used in the 1984 film Blade Runner.

See that bench in the trees? Among other films, it was used for the 2009 rom-com, 500 Days of Summer.

Union Station, a working train station, has been used in numerous films, including Muppets Most Wanted, and predominantly features in Pharrell Williams' music video for "Happy".

Manhattan Beach and it's pier have been used in a lot of films and TV shows. Its most notable include; Starsky and Hutch (2004) and Point Break (1991). The pier is also commonly seen in the intro to Hannah Montana.

Santa Monica has played host to a ton of TV shows and films over the years including; Titanic, Forrest Gump, Iron Man, 90210, Greys Anatomy and the Mindy Project.

Fans of 'Pretty Little Liars' are sure to recognise this facade - Rosewood City Hall!

THE sofa. Need I say any more?!

Griffith Observatory and its grounds have been used in a lot of films including; Rebel Without a Cause (1955), Transformers (2007), Terminator Genisys (2015) and most recently, the Academy Award winning film La La Land (2016).

Although I have no pictures of the actual locations (photos are not allowed inside the soundstages), we visited the Warner Brothers lot where shows such as; The Big Bang Theory, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Pretty Little Liars are currently being taped.

At the time we visited, Hollywood Boulevard was being prepared for the Academy Awards (Oscars), which were to be hosted the following week. The whole street is fitted out with equipment ready for the ceremony and red carpet experience.

Visiting Los Angeles was an experience I will never ever forget, and i'd love to go back again!
